Wireframes that Reduce Friction

Low-fidelity flows built to handle schedule changes, reduce decision fatigue, and support recovery after missed days.

Adaptive Daily Plan (Auto-Replan)

Gradient image

What’s inside this flow

  • Calendar + deadlines → time blocks

  • Auto-replan when meetings shift

  • One next-best action for focus

Key screens in the wireframe

  • Setup & Anchors: fixed events + non-negotiables

  • Adaptive Daily Plan: time blocks + buffers + priorities

  • Focus Mode: one task at a time + quick reschedule

  • Recovery: missed day → smaller restart plan (no guilt loop)

What I tested (early validation)

  • Users can build a plan in < 60 seconds

  • If schedule changes, users recover in < 15 seconds

  • After a miss, users choose restart instead of quitting

Design decisions

  • Clarity > options: default plan shows only what matters

  • Life-proof buffers: built-in slack so plans don’t collapse

  • Energy-aware sizing: lighter tasks on low-energy windows

  • Gentle recovery: “resume” beats streak pressure

Note

These wireframes were created to validate structure and behavior first. High-fidelity UI comes next, but the core system is already optimized for real-world volatility: change, low energy, and missed days.

Mobile Quick-Capture Flow (Wireframes)

What’s New

LifeSync’s mobile flow wireframes are redesigned to reduce friction at the exact moment routines break: when your day changes. The goal is simple—capture in seconds, auto-replan instantly, and show one next-best action so users keep moving without decision fatigue.

What’s inside this flow

  • Quick Capture (5–10s): add a task/habit + one detail (time/deadline/energy)

  • Signal tagging: Deadline / Energy / Routine → system understands intent

  • Auto-Replan: when classes/meetings shift, blocks update automatically

  • Next-Best Action: one clear focus prompt instead of long lists

    Improvements

  • Added bottom-sheet quick add with smart defaults (time, priority, category)

  • Introduced energy-aware suggestions (light task on low-energy windows)

  • Simplified navigation to 2 primary modes: Plan / Focus

  • Clearer “why this now” microcopy (reduces anxiety + builds trust)

  • Reduced steps to replan: 1 tap → confirm → done

Fixes

  • Removed ambiguous labels that caused hesitation (ex: “Schedule” → “Plan”)

  • Reduced cognitive load by limiting visible choices per step

  • Improved empty states: users always see a starting point

  • Clarified recovery messaging to avoid “failure spiral” after one miss

Note
These are structure-first wireframes to validate behavior before high-fidelity UI. Next iteration will test:

  • Replan acceptance rate (Do users trust auto changes?)

  • Focus compliance (Do users follow next-best action?)

  • Recovery success (Do users restart after misses?)
